
Let's face it: family portraits can be an ordeal. Getting everyone dressed up and clean, bringing all the changes of clothes, getting that one fidgety family member to smile at the right time (come on, Dad). We promise we will do all that we can to simplify the process and make it as easy as possible.
First of all, we shoot where you want. We are based in Nixa and will travel anywhere within 20 miles for free. Past that, there is a small mileage-based fee (see the FAQ for details). We can also suggest several locations to consider if you don't have a place in mind.
Second, we let you pick your prints. Instead of making you pick from packages that might have picture sizes you don't want, we simply supply a prints price list and let you pick them. In order to recoup our costs, we do have to set minimum orders, but due to our business model, we do offer very reasonable prices.
You are welcome to bring props or other personal touches to the shoot; the pictures should show off each member's individuality and personality.
Only the session package fee is due the day of the shoot.

Instead of having you pick from pre-defined packages, we tell you the minimum amount you need to spend for each session package and let you pick it out of the available prints. Many customers are looking for specific print sizes and we don't want you to be forced into buying a package that has sizes you don't want.
Click here for the print price list. Discounts are built into buying more than one copy for some sizes, but realistically, if you buy lots of pictures, we can talk about discounted pricing.
All croppings and black and white/sepia/overall tone adjustments are always free. Small touch-ups are free for 30 days after initial delivery. After that, there will be a small charge.
Proofs are usually done within a week. We will upload the pictures to our developer's website and you can review them there and order prints if you want to. You also have the option to purchase the license for your digital proofs.
A 50% deposit will be needed before a print order is processed through us. We will upload your pictures to our developer's website where you'll be able to browse them and order prints directly from them.
Instead of buying prints, you can choose to purchase the license for your proofs. This option means you'll get high quality digital images which you can use to order as many prints as you want from the local Wal-Mart, Walgreens, or any other developer who accepts digital images. This allows for maximum flexibility while still assuring high quality, professional digital images. If you still want some prints developed by us, you may order them with no minimums after you have chosen to buy the license for all your proofs.

If you choose to buy the license for your proofs, please tell us either during the shoot or as soon as possible afterward to get your images sooner. We will burn you a disc of all the proofs and either ship it or meet to give it to you. Additionally, we will upload them to our developer's online gallery system in case you or your friends and family want to order professionally-developed prints. For 30 days, you can send us an email describing any changes you want, and we'll email the resulting files to you and upload the new images to the same online gallery. After 30 days, there will be a small charge for touch-ups.
These prices might seem high, but remember: you will be able to develop, copy, and email these pictures as many times as you want as long as it's for personal use. Since basically every developer now accepts digital files, you have lots of flexibility.
If you only want to buy the license for a few proofs, they will be $25 apiece and do count toward your minimum package purchase.
