Do you want senior portraits that are really personalized? Many photographers allow you to bring props to their sites, but still keep you on their grounds or close to their studio. If you're looking for an extended indoor shoot or closely-controlled outdoor shots, go with them. We want your senior pictures to be truly unique and reflect you, so we take them where you want and with whatever props you want.
Our goal is to make senior portrait decisions as simple and easy as possible. To that end, we travel to where you want to shoot and advocate more of an a la carte approach to ordering. At the end of the process, we want you to have the pictures you want, so we give you the freedom to get exactly that.
Because we mostly work on a time basis and travel to the place of your choosing instead of making you come to our place, we don't really see the need for limiting the number of outfits or settings. We offer suggestions to make sure we get the number of proofs you expect, but you are in charge of your shoot.
We have you pick from three session packages that define a few parameters but still leave your picture choices wide open. Read on to see what I mean.
Cum Laude - $45
The only charge due on the day of the shoot is the session package fee.
Locations more than 20 miles from Republic may incur a mileage charge. See the FAQ for details.
Instead of forcing you to pick from pre-defined packages, we simply tell you the minimum amount you need to spend for each session package and let you pick the products you want (prints or digital license).
All croppings and black and white/sepia/overall tone adjustments are always free. Small touch-ups are free for 30 days after initial delivery. After that, there will be a small charge.
The proofs are normally done in a week or two. We will then upload them to our developer's website and send you a link to give to friends and family so they can review them with you. After you have requested the changes you want, you can either buy the digital license to the pictures or order prints.
There are basically two options for delivery of your pictures: buying the license for the digital images or buying prints.
If you choose to purchase the license for your digital images, you will receive full-resolution, edited digital images which you can use to order as many prints as you want from the local Wal-Mart, Walgreens, or any other developer who accepts digital images. This allows for maximum flexibility while still assuring high quality, professional digital images.
If you still want some prints developed by us (which we recommend for larger print sizes), you may still order them with no minimums after you have chosen to buy the license.
Here are the prices:We will either ship you a DVD or put them in a zip file on our website where you can download it. The latter is normally a little faster.
These prices might seem high, but remember: you will be able to develop, copy, and email these pictures with no limits as long as it's for personal use. Since basically every developer now accepts digital files, you have lots of flexibility.
The other option is to just order enough prints from our prints list to reach your minimum order. While this was the norm in the past, we really encourage the digital option since it allows much more flexibility.
See the FAQ for a more in-depth explanation of the different order options.
Want a collage of several pictures? Personalized graduation invitations on photo paper? We can work with you to create something unique. Since each project is different, we can discuss options and prices once we know what you want.
